Our Practices
The New York Knights have open practice Mondays and Wednesdays every week starting the first week in April. Practices are rigorous and consist of a variety of drills all of which are geared towards preparing players to perform their best during our weekly matches.
Practices are held at Hudson River Park's Pier 40 field a.k.a "The Castle" located at west Houston Street and the West Side Highway in Manhattan. Pier 40 is located near the 1 subway line at the Houston Street stop.
Parking is also available for a fee. Practice begins at 8:15 PM.
The Castle
Hudson River Park's Pier 40 field is the New York Knights' home ground. The Stadium's fortress like architecture and surrounding "moat" (Hudson River), give the park a Castle like appearance. Because of these unique features and the home team's ferocious reputation, the stadium is now more commonly referred to as "The Castle".
