Warriors Hammer Knights in Semi-Final
The New York Knights 2010 AMNRL Championship has ended at the hands of the New Haven Warriors. In a reversal of last years semi-final result, the Warriors were too good running out victors, 42-18.
There were early glimmers of hope for the Knights, but key injuries and a lack of ball control proved costly as the Warriors found space out wide. Despite not retaining the championship, it was a successful season for the Knights, finding a new batch of young American Rugby League players ready to form the nucleus of future Knight squads.
The AMERICAN NATIONAL RUGBY LEAGUE is excited to announce that NRL
Referee Chris Sutton will control the AMNRL Grand Final XIII in Conshohocken, PA on
Saturday, August 28.
This is the first in a number of new strategies to develop match officials for the AMNRL. This includes referees exchange and training from Australia.
